Description:
Prime waterfront development in the City of Geraldton, located on Western Australia’s Mid West coast. The first stage of land subdivision has prepared land for a range of retail, commercial, tourism, hospitality and residential uses. Public facilities include the Western Australian Museum Geraldton with the outstanding "Shipwrecks Gallery", boat pens, a service jetty, boat launching ramps and a timber boardwalk along the entire marina waters edge with water front pedestrian access to alfresco dining and activities.
Status:
Stage 1 Servicing and subdivision of land for sale has been completed and all lots have been sold. Commercial and residential buildings have been constructed with several more currently planned including a hotel, serviced apartments, tavern and offices but firm dates have not been set for their commencement.
Next steps:
Stage 2 A pre-feasibility study for Stage 2 of the redevelopment of the Batavia Coast Marina is currently underway.
