Mid West Development Commission staff are of a diverse group of professionals with significant and varied experience in both the private and public sectors. Some have spent all their lives in the Mid West while others have been attracted to the region to become long term residents. One thing the Commission’s staff have in common is that they are all passionate about their work and the sustainable development of the region.

Chief Executive Officer
- Manages and directs Commission activities at executive level.
- Provides policy advice to Government.
- Strategic Planning and Coordination across Mid West State Government agencies.
- Client Manager for the City of Geraldton / Greenough.

- Strategic Infrastructure Planning and Development
- Education and Health Precinct
- Separation Point Marine Precinct
- Coorow Carnamah Coastal Management Strategy

Brendin Flanigan
Senior Project Manager – Murchison
- Assist Murchison Local Governments in obtaining funding for a diverse range of projects and events throughout the region from a variety of sources.
- Actively work towards building partnerships with Federal and State agencies to strategically address issues in the Murchison region.
- Client Manager for the Shires of Yalgoo, Murchison, Wiluna, Sandstone, Mt Magnet, Meekatharra, Mullewa and Cue
- Direct project responsibilities for the Commission currently include:
- Assisting Yarrlgu Bunna Aboriginal Corporation to purchase a station.
- Remote Indigenous Broadcasting Service (RIBS). Community Radio development in Mullewa and Pia Wajarri communities.
