Consultation Process

A comprehensive stakeholder engagement process was undertaken during 2021-22, informing the development of the draft RDRP and associated Drought Vulnerability Assessment.

The Commission is now seeking feedback from stakeholders and technical experts on the draft plan via the survey.

Consultation opened on 27 September 2022 and closed on 21 October 2022 (extended from 14 October 2022).

The draft RDRP and DVA was concurrently being reviewed by CSIRO on behalf of the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry and the feedback will also be incorporated into final documents.

Feedback will be considered and incorporated into final documents in early 2023.
