State Government has committed $30,000 via the Mid West Development Commission and the Department of Biodiversity Conservation and Attractions to develop a Moresby Range Conservation Park Eco Tourism and Recreation Masterplan, to activate the area as an affordable and accessible nature-based tourism and cultural experience.
In addition, the Shire of Chapman Valley will commit $15,000 towards the masterplan.
The masterplan will identify high value attractions, potential recreational opportunities, cultural experiences and access requirements to open up the park to the public.
