Jo-anne Bonnily is the Manager of the Meekatharra Community Resource Centre, where she plays a key role in supporting local services and strengthening community capacity. Over the past decade, Jo-anne has held a range of employment consultant and compliance officer roles across regional and remote Western Australia and the Northern Territory. Through this work, she has developed a strong understanding of workforce participation and the practical challenges faced by individuals and communities in remote locations. Jo-anne is a passionate volunteer who actively contributes to her local community through fundraising and community-led initiatives. She has a deep appreciation of Aboriginal culture and a well-informed understanding of the social, economic and logistical challenges associated with living in regional communities. Driven by a desire to create positive change, Jo-anne brings energy, commitment and a strong social focus to her work, with a particular passion for creating and harnessing opportunities that deliver meaningful outcomes for the Mid West region.
